Negotiable (between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)                    

There is a minimum requirement of 10 hours of on-site work per week. Some off-site work may be allowed and will be determined on an individual basis.  

Description:  

Intern with a fun, dynamic organization and make a difference in your community. The AIDS Coalition of Southern New Jersey (ACSNJ) is a non-profit agency that provides 18 free social services to people in South Jersey affected by HIV / AIDS. Our mission is to enhance the quality and length of life for those suffering with the disease and to educate our community about AIDS related issues.

 The ACSNJ Marketing & Development Department is currently searching for one to two interns or student workers to assist with graphic design tasks. Becoming an ACSNJ intern is a great opportunity for graphic design students of sophomore level or higher to learn more about Graphic Design aspects of non-profit public relations, marketing and fundraising.  

Intern Responsibilities:

  • Design layout and content for ACSNJ bi-annual newletter
  • Assist in creating templates for agency brochures and special event correspondence including invitations, response cards, programs, informational flyers, etc.
  • Assist with other graphic design tasks as needed.
  • Revise and update ACSNJ website (knowledge in this area is not required, but is considered a plus.)

Skills Required:

Successful applicants must have knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop. Applicants must have access to InDesign and Photoshop in an offsite location.

Pay:

No financial compensation is available at this time; however, interns will work on projects that can be added to portfolios and/or used for college course credit. Rowan University FWS Student Workers may be eligible for compensation thorough the Rowan FWS program. Contact ACSNJ for more details.
