Negotiable (between the hours of 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)
There is a minimum requirement of 10 hours of on-site work per week. Some off-site work may be allowed and will be determined on an individual basis.
Description:
Intern with a fun, dynamic organization and make a difference in your community. The AIDS Coalition of Southern New Jersey (ACSNJ) is a non-profit agency that provides 18 free social services to people in South Jersey affected by HIV / AIDS. Our mission is to enhance the quality and length of life for those suffering with the disease and to educate our community about AIDS related issues.
The ACSNJ Marketing & Development Department is currently searching for one to two interns or student workers to assist with graphic design tasks. Becoming an ACSNJ intern is a great opportunity for graphic design students of sophomore level or higher to learn more about Graphic Design aspects of non-profit public relations, marketing and fundraising.
Intern Responsibilities:

Design layout and content for ACSNJ bi-annual newletter

Assist in creating templates for agency brochures and special event correspondence including invitations, response cards, programs, informational flyers, etc.

Assist with other graphic design tasks as needed.

Revise and update ACSNJ website (knowledge in this area is not required, but is considered a plus.)
Skills Required:
Successful applicants must have knowledge of InDesign and Photoshop. Applicants must have access to InDesign and Photoshop in an offsite location.
Pay:
No financial compensation is available at this time; however, interns will work on projects that can be added to portfolios and/or used for college course credit. Rowan University FWS Student Workers may be eligible for compensation thorough the Rowan FWS program. Contact ACSNJ for more details.
