Since 1988, ACSNJ has worked tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by HIV/AIDS. The generosity of donors like you have enabled us to help thousands of individuals and families in their fight against AIDS. Here are some of the many ways you can help to support ACSNJ’s mission:

Your online donation will help ACSNJ serve hundreds of individuals and families fighting HIV/AIDS in our service are. Fundraising Events
By participating in ACSNJ’s annual fundraising events you can help to support our mission and have a great time with friends, family and co-workers. Our annual events include AIDS Walk South Jersey, Dining Out For Life and the Circles of Hope Artwork Auction.

Employer Matching Gifts
Employer matching gifts are contributions from corporations that match (1 for 1, 2 for 1, etc.) contributions to a charitable organization like ACSNJ by employees. Please check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program. You could double or even triple you gift to ACSNJ! Some characteristics of employer matching gift programs include:
- Matching their employees’ monetary contributions to charities.
- Making financial contributions to charities where employees’ volunteer.
- Foundations with matching gift programs for officers and directors.
Remember ACSNJ In Your Will (Bequests)
Next to writing a check, perhaps the best known way for supporting charities like ACSNJ is through a bequest. A bequest establishes your wishes today without relinquishing needed assets during your lifetime. Bequests can tranfer specific assets and you can also give a percent of your estate after costs and taxes. Giving a gift of publicly traded stock that has increased in value and that you have owned for at least one year may provide greater tax benefits than giving cash. Please speak with your broker/financial advisor for details regarding possible tax benefits for a donation of this kind. Generally, your charitable income tax deduction is equal to the fair market value of the stock and you avoid paying the capital gains tax on any increase in the current value over the original cost of the stock. You may also save by not incurring brokerage fees because you are tranferring ownership rather than selling the stock. United Way Campaign Pledges
Do you contribute to your employer’s United Way campaign? ACSNJ is a United Way member agency and benefits from local United Way grants and fundraising efforts. Through these campaigns donors have two options:
- Sign-up as an individual supporter through your local United Way’s Contributor Choice Program. Any individual who donates to the United Way has the option to designate a specific organization as the donation recipient. Donations can be a one-time contribution or ongoing support through a monthly pledge or payroll deductions.
