Resource Center

"The Information and Resource Center is important because most people don’t know where to go to get information on HIV/AIDS. It’s beneficial for the youth of our community, such as, college, high school, and middle school students to have a place to find this information."

The ACSNJ Information and Resource Center provides up-to-date information about virtually all aspects of HIV/AIDS. It is a useful tool for school projects, and for teachers of all levels. In addition, the Resource Center also provides information to our clients and staff.

The center operates a lending library of periodicals, books, newspapers, videos and pamphlets for those desiring information about some aspect of AIDS. This service has been used frequently by high school and college teachers for prevention and education purposes, as well as, by corporate executives for HIV in the workplace issues or health fairs.

Currently the ACSNJ is in the process of expanding the amount of information available. Anyone is welcome to call, walk in, or write to request information.

The Information and Resource Center has many different pamphlets and educational pieces in English and in Spanish on all topics related to HIV/AIDS. These materials address topics related to demographics, health care, care giving, prevention, volunteerism, etc. Multiple copies are available.

Q:   You can also call with a question: Is oral sex safe? What are the symptoms of HIV? Where can I get tested?

A:   Trained educators will enable you to find the answers you are looking for.

Information is Power! Don't be afraid to ask!
