Transportation
Designed for those without Medicaid or other means of transportation this vital service provides rides to and from medical, dental, counseling, legal, case management, support group and other social service appointments. Medical appointments are given the highest priority and support groups are limited to one ride per week. Rides must be scheduled 48 hours in advance by a Medical Case Manager.
If a client must cancel a ride, out of courtesy for the van drivers, a call must be made in advance to cancel the pickup. ACSNJ utilizes several unmarked vans to provide safe and confidential transportation. Special transportation needs, like wheelchairs or child seats, must be made at the time of scheduling the ride.
