Employment Program
This program provides employment, career and self-sufficiency training and education for clients who wish to return to the workforce or to change their career paths. In addition, this program has also contracted with the Social Security Administration’s Ticket to Work (TTW) Program. This program helps ticket holders to obtain and retain gainful employment, thus enabling them to drop disability benefits.
ACSNJ’s Employment Program is designed to utilize short-term outcomes such as financial literacy or preparing for a job interview to build toward long-term goals such as developing a career path.
This is done with a group approach to learning where our clients come together in group meetings to learn specific skills including (but not limited to) financial management, resume development, writing good cover letters, filling out job
applications, good interviewing skills and much more.
